Dr. Rakesh Kumar Garg is an extraordinary business visionary and a philanthropist. He started business at a young age and is the Chairman of the Global Group, which has diversified into various fields, namely - Hospitality, Media, Realty, Education, Consumer Goods, International Trading and others. Acknowledging his entrepreneurial achievements in the field of business, he has been awarded a Doctorate from Cosmopolitan University, USA which was presented by our former President Shri Abdul Kalam.

His desire to foster better cultural and economic ties with other countries has led him to become the Chairman of the Federation for Promotion of India Africa Industry and Trade, and Vice-President of Indo China Economic and Cultural Council. Dr. Garg is a connoisseur of theatre and poetry and a conscientious corporate citizen. He has made significant contributions through various trusts and institutions towards social welfare. His philanthropic activities include providing education and medical facilities to many marginalized people across the country through the Global Foundation. His earnest desire to contribute to nation building has led him to associate with higher education.

Prof. M. M. Pant has been the Former Pro-Vice Chancellor, Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) and has been on the faculty of IIT, MLNR Engineering College and Faculty & Visiting Professor - University of Western Ontario-Canada. He is a Ph.D in Computational Physics, along with a Professional Law Degree.

He is currently Member of Board of Management in IIT Delhi, a one-man committee to create the Project Report & Legislation for Delhi IT-enabled Open University. He is also an advisor to the Delhi Government on Asian Network of Major Cities Project (ANMC-21) Distance Learning Project, being pursued in association with Tokyo Metropolitan Government. He has been the visiting scientist to research centers in Italy, England, Germany & Sweden and has delivered international lectures and published over 80 papers.

Dr. M. P. Gupta, Ph.D., is former Head and Dean, Faculty of Management Studies (FMS), University of Delhi. He is MA in Economic Statistics, MA in Operations Research and Ph.D. in Management. He has been responsible for designing and introducing Operations Research and allied courses in the MBA program of FMS.

He is a member of selection committee for recruiting faculty at various management schools and universities including the IIMs and MDI, Gurgaon. He was member, Board of Governors, MDI, he was also Executive Member, Association of Management Development Institution, South Asia (MDISA) and Association of Indian Management Schools (AIMS). He has been a member, Board of Studies of a number of universities/ institutions, including Indian Institute of Materials Management. Professor Gupta has also been a member, of both AICTE and UGC management. He has organized many national and international seminars. He was a consultant with a leading consultancy firm in the US for two years Dr. Gupta has several articles and four books on Operation Research and Statistics to his credit.

Dr Sriparna Basu, A.M., Ph.D, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, USA. A Former Faculty, IIT, Kharagpur, she carries teaching experience of 14 yrs in India and the US. Dr Basu has published a number of research papers in peer-reviewed journals abroad. She has been associated with corporate training and HRD consultancy. A firm believer in academic excellence and commitment to quality education, she feels that desire is the key to motivation but it is commitment that makes us achieve our goal. Living true to her words, Dr Basu is known for her teaching excellence and has a number of awards to her credit including an excellent teacher award during her stint in the US. At the moment she is authoring two books to be published by top publishing houses in India and abroad.

Mr. Subhash Jagota, an alumni of XLRI Jamshedpur, has expertise in the field of human resource development for more than three decades. He has spent more than 25 years with large Corporates like Ballarpur Industries, Birla Group, Escorts, Dabur and Punj Lloyd where he last served as Executive Director (Corporate HR). He is CEO of Global Business Solutions.

Mr. Jagota is an author of leading books like "Winning strategies for Corporate Success", "Interview Techniques", and "Effective Supervision." He recently published "Foundation for Success". Mr. Subhash is a former Chairman of National Institute of Personnel Management (Delhi Chapter) and Vice President of National HRD network as well.
