There comes a time in our lives when we shift our focus beyond ourselves - beyond self and the family. The focus then is on macro issues and concerns, of the society at large and of the nation as a whole.

We as a society and as a nation are presently at a critical take off stage. We have extraordinary opportunities in terms of human resources that are talented and competent to match global standards in meeting the challenges imposed in a fast developing world. The whole world is our platform to prove our abilities in leading and winning in all spheres of human activities. The best way to capitalize on this opportunity is to make our youth more competent since they comprise of about 41% of our population. Youth of today is the country's future and must be imparted with the best skills so that they meet the challenges knocking on our doors. And these skills, honed with the right education will help them to go beyond the ordinary and thus make pathbreaking achievements.

Only a holistic and realistic education can prepare them to take on not just India but the entire world. My vision is to empower the youth of today for a Globalized tomorrow. It is time to create a level playing field for our youth and to give them fresh opportunities in becoming powerful leaders.
